Katharine Kelley
Director, Jamestown Real Estate Services/President and CEO, Green Street Properties
Ms. Kelley directs operations for Jamestown’s Real Estate Services Division and oversees all development and green consulting activities for Jamestown’s subsidiary, Green Street Properties. With 20 years of experience in urban infill, mixed-use and residential development, Ms. Kelley has supervised the development of more than $700 million of properties while serving in senior positions at The Landmarks Group, Post Properties, and Green Street Properties. She serves on the boards of the Congress for the New Urbanism, Atlanta Habitat for Humanity and The Westminster Schools. Ms. Kelley is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of North Carolina, where she was a Morehead Scholar. She received a Master of Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University. Ms. Kelley is President and CEO of Green Street Properties and was named Director of Jamestown Real Estate Services in 2011.

Walter Brown
Senior Vice President - Development and Environmental Affairs
Walter Brown supervises development and environmental affairs as Senior Vice President and co-founder of Green Street, executing a comprehensive approach to environmental sustainability. A LEED AP, Brown is a former Senior Program Manager at Southface Energy Institute, where he led progressive initiatives including the Sustainable Atlanta Roundtable and Greenprints Sustainable Development Conference. He also directed the rehabilitation of more than 5,000 homes for low- to moderate-income residents with the State of Georgia. Brown chairs the Georgia Solar Energy Association and has held leadership roles with the U.S. Green Building Council and the Community Housing Resource Center. He earned a Bachelor of Community Development from Georgia State University with additional studies at Georgia Tech and the University of Georgia.

Bettie Gebara
Senior Vice President, Construction
Senior Vice President of Construction Bettie Gebara is responsible for construction planning, oversight, project implementation and project management for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, and for implementing quality construction practices utilizing effective cost control methodologies. Prior to joining Jamestown in 2006, Ms. Gebara held senior positions at US Cost, Rosser International and Gleeds USA, excelling in roles that encompassed estimation, project controls, and new business development, and was heavily involved in governmental and municipal initiatives. A native Atlantan, Ms. Gebara graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction. She earned her Certified Cost Consultant accreditation in 2006. Ms. Gebara joined Jamestown in 2006 as Vice President of Construction, and worked integrally with the Acquisitions and Asset Management Departments. In 2011, Ms. Gebara joined the Green Street team to lead both companies’ construction activities.

Amy Merritt Swick
Senior Vice President - Development and Finance
Senior Vice President of Development & Finance Amy Swick focuses on green consulting, project management and business development at Green Street, where she leads sustainable initiatives for urban, commercial and residential properties. She began her career at the firm in 2003, establishing a foundation in green building. Following her tenure as development manager at Citiline Development in Charlotte, N.C., she returned to Green Street in 2007 to direct the firm’s growing portfolio of urban development and green consulting projects. Her strong background in finance is attributed to her experience with financial analysis and legal review of alternative investments as a former analyst at JP Morgan. Swick is involved with the Urban Land Institute and U.S. Green Building Council. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a Certificate in Finance from Princeton University, followed by a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Annie Evans
Vice President - Development
Vice President of Development Annie Evans joined Green Street Properties in 2011 to lead its multi-family development projects located in Atlanta and other East Coast cities. Evans also provides development consulting for additional projects in Atlanta and other cities within the Green Street portfolio. Prior to joining the firm, Evans developed a strong multi-family background as a development associate for Atlanta-based Gables Residential. At Gables, she performed an integral role in all stages of development and construction of multi-family units, including four EarthCraft and Energy Star certified communities. Evans is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the U.S. Green Building Council - Emerging Green Builders. Evans received a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Princeton University and a Master of Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.

Jim Irwin
Vice President - Development
Jim Irwin is Vice President of Development and directs strategic market analysis, planning, financing and project development for sustainable and urban properties in the firm’s national portfolio. Prior to joining Green Street in 2010, Jim led market analysis, financial evaluation and operational execution of the development pipeline at The University Financing Foundation, a nonprofit organization that assists educational and research institutions in expanding and building facilities and equipment. During his tenure as Manager of Development, he completed a $31 million bond financing to renovate the Georgia Tech Research Institute in Cobb County, Ga., working with preferred partners to select, contract and oversee design, construction and engineering components. Jim also managed project development and asset management for Atlanta-based Barry Real Estate Companies, with a primary focus on the FBI Regional Headquarters, a $55 million custom project in Minneapolis, Minn., and Harrison Square, a mixed-use development in Fort Wayne, Indiana, anchored by an 8,000 seat minor league baseball stadium.
Extending his professional background to serve the Atlanta community, Jim is involved with the Center for Regional Leadership Development at the Urban Land Institute, the Young Alumni Real Estate Advisory Board at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and the Board of Directors for Road Safe America.
Jim earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Dartmouth College, where he played football for four years. After serving on the staff of several U.S. senators and congressmen, he received a Master in Business Administration with a concentration in real estate finance from Emory University.

Jodi Mansbach
Vice President - Development and Marketing
Vice President of Development and Marketing Jodi Mansbach focuses on expanding Green Street’s nationwide portfolio of urban commercial and residential developments. Her passion for sustainable development includes studies on sustainable waterfront properties and experience in the private and public sectors. Mansbach previously held senior positions at Acoustiguide Corporation, WordOne and Jones Lang LaSalle, encompassing strategic branding, marketing and corporate responsibility initiatives. A community leader, she has been recognized by Outstanding Atlanta and currently serves on the board of Repair the World. Mansbach received a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Yale University, Master of Arts in Art History from Northwestern University and Master in City and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Alix Rice
Vice President - Development
Vice President – Development Alix Rice is responsible for green consulting and project management for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, implementing Green Street’s environmentally progressive approach through sustainable practices, good urbanism and energy conservation. Prior to joining the firm in 2004, Rice was a corporate paralegal in New York, specializing in the formation of private equity funds. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute and graduated from ULI Atlanta’s Center for Leadership in 2010. Rice is also involved with the U.S. Green Building Council and is a former member of the Board of Trustees of the Georgia Conservancy, where she served as president of its young professionals group, Generation Green. Rice graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Emory University.

Mark Vogt
Vice President - Construction
Vice President of Construction in California, Mark Vogt brings exceptional experience in architecture, engineering, development, construction and finance, and has a proven history of successful risk management in all phases of the real estate life-cycle. As a strong technical practitioner and experienced executive, Mr. Vogt has provided consulting services to investors, owners, managers, and lenders of commercial and residential real estate across the country since 1981. Prior to joining Green Street Properties in 2011, Vogt founded Vogt Consulting, LLC. During his tenure he served as Vice President and National Manager of the Project Development discipline for iStar Financial Inc. where he directed the physical due diligence of new investments as well as the monitoring of development and construction loans. Vogt is a licensed Architect (CA) and certified Facilities Management Professional (FMP) as well as a member of the American Institute of Architects, Urban Land Institute, International Facility Management Association and the Project Management Institute. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Design and Certificate in Project Management from the University of California-Davis.

Frances Bohn
Construction Associate
Construction Associate Frances Bohn leads the development and implementation of value-added projects on Green Street's varied properties and works with Jamestown's asset management group providing support through various stages of each property. She joined Green Street Properties in May 2011 with a specialty in higher education real estate market during her five at Hardin Construction Company in Atlanta, GA where she completed projects for Georgia State University and Young Harris College. Bohn is a LEED Accredited Professional and is an active volunteer at her local YMCA, Habitat for Humanity and The Study Hall. She received both her Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Studies with a minor in Landscape Architecture as well as a Master of Science degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida.

Hank Farmer
Project Analyst
Project Analyst Hank Farmer performs financial modeling and feasibility analysis on both prospective and current development projects at Green Street Properties. Before joining the firm in 2011, Farmer was a real estate fund associate in Morgan Stanley's MSREF VII Global Fund, where his primary responsibilities included preparation of fund financial statements and investor statements, as well as tracking of fund investments. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he worked with clients throughout the Southeast as a Senior Audit Assistant in the real estate group of Deloitte & Touche, LLP. Farmer received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Masters of Accoutancy from the University of Georgia. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Georgia and a Level III Chartered Financial Analyst candidate.

Assistant Development Manager
Matt Gainey serves as an assistant development manager for Green Street Properties, working with construction, abatement, and demolition companies at Ponce City Market. Prior to joining Green Street Properties in 2011, Gainey was a finance and account manager for Wells Fargo in Savannah, Ga. His primary responsibilities included account maintenance, customer service relations, and community outreach. He is currently completing his Bachelors of Business in Management from the University of Phoenix.

Leah Green
Business Development Assistant
Business Development Assistant Leah Green contributes more than a decade of industry experience to Green Street, managing new business initiatives, accounting and office management for the national green consulting and development team and its portfolio of sustainable urban properties. Green joined the firm in 2010 after six years with GreenBuilt Homes, Inc., an environmentally friendly home builder, and is the former owner of the Atlanta real estate company Dragonfly Properties, LLC. Green is an active community member and has volunteered with several local children’s organizations. She is a past president of United Affordable Housing and holds a real estate broker’s license in the state of Georgia. Green graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from the University of Georgia.
